Girls 3rd Birthday

We have been planning for a long time to take the girls to American Girl. Today we took four little three year old girls there for their third birthday. We had so much fun. The store was EMPTY because of the snow. We had the best time and the staff was SO FRIENDLY. The two main sales people were helpful and talked even to the girls, not just to the adults. The girls were like kids in a candy store playing with everything. We settled on the Itty Bitty Twins with sleeping "bags" for the babies and a bag for each girl to carry their baby inside.

Here is a slideshow of the girls fun afternoon.

Dez, I have heard those dolls are very pricey - it looks like a fun but expensive girls day out! Happy 3rd Birthday girls!!

The twin baby dolls like we got the girls aren't as expensive as the bigger historical or just like me dolls. We figured we would spend about the same amount going there as we would having a party. I spend less than 90 on each of the girls. And some of that even came from Brian's gran and aunt Linda. A very dear friend is making the dolls clothes to match. Each girl got a doll, a sleeping bag for their doll and a carrying bag (like a purse) for their doll. The girls are cute with their babies...The girls tell me the babies arms are cold and need to go in their bag to get warm.

Mission Statement

I would like our home to be clutter-free, inviting and peaceful. My goal is to decide which tasks I need to do or delegate each day so we can maintain a better, more organized lifestyle. My goals also include providing an environment where my children can learn to be productive and Godly people. I want my family and others to know that this house is one where they can be free to live simply, love deeply and laugh abundantly. I want to be able to invite friends over without having to clean up for three days beforehand.
