New Hobby

After attempting several times over the past 25 years, I am finally learning to crochet and I like it. I have made several projects in the last month ~ a scarf for me, hats for the girls, scarves for a friends girls (my girls will get scarves too) and now a scarf for a friend. Here's a picture of the work in progress of the current scarf.

I love to crochet, and have made several scarves. I never made one with that design though, don't know how! I just make rows and add fringe at the ends of the scarf. I haven't even tried making anything like a blanket in a LONG time. One day, I'll get back into it.

Mission Statement


I would like our home to be clutter-free, inviting and peaceful. My goal is to decide which tasks I need to do or delegate each day so we can maintain a better, more organized lifestyle. My goals also include providing an environment where my children can learn to be productive and Godly people. I want my family and others to know that this house is one where they can be free to live simply, love deeply and laugh abundantly. I want to be able to invite friends over without having to clean up for three days beforehand.
