Happy New Year

Welcome 2009

This year brings many joys and some sadness too. We are welcoming 2009 in a different city than 2008. We welcomed 2009 in with good friend and our kids. We watched the ball drop in New York City live instead of recorded. We had about 4-6 inches of snow on New Year's Eve. I am so blessed to be surrounded with family. We miss are family that is so far away from us. We are blessed to have our friend's home from Iraq yet sad to have lost some in the cost of war, illness and disease. My kids are such a blessing to me. The girls are fully potty trained and out of diapers. It is such an odd feeling to say I am out of the diaper stage. It's been nearly 10 years. 10 years ago today Brian & I were wondering the mall in Schaumburg, IL and went to Build a Bear and bought Leo his first Build a Bear. I was 13 weeks pregnant and over joyed to be having baby after several years of trying. Now today my youngest daughter brings me her Barbie to put a "ponie in the hair" I am truly blessed.

I am looking forward to 2009 and all the ups and downs that comes our way. With God's help we can handle it all one step and day at a time.

I love the picture of your family - and the look of the blog! I was looking at your old house last week, while at my parents, and almost took a picture of it to send to you. Lots of happy memories there! Crazy ones too!

Mission Statement

I would like our home to be clutter-free, inviting and peaceful. My goal is to decide which tasks I need to do or delegate each day so we can maintain a better, more organized lifestyle. My goals also include providing an environment where my children can learn to be productive and Godly people. I want my family and others to know that this house is one where they can be free to live simply, love deeply and laugh abundantly. I want to be able to invite friends over without having to clean up for three days beforehand.
