Family worship

Tonight Brian & I were sitting outside relaxing while the boys were bathing. The girls were already down for the night. When the boys were done we had them come out and have worship with us. We talked about Noah and the ark. The really special part was when it was time for prayers. Leo went first and his prayer was for the doctors to find a cure for eczema to help Reuben and to watch over his sisters. Caleb followed those same lines and Reuben as well prayed for a cure for eczema. How amazing that even at such a young age they can pray for such big things and not even for themselves but for their brothers (well Reuben prayed for himself but you know what I mean). There are days where Reuben is happy go lucky and not a care in this world the itching and scratching doesn't seem to faze him and other days it breaks my heart because he is in so much pain and aggravation. God is good all the time I know He watches over my kids as they play and deal with their allergies and ailments. Tonight was just a wonderful evening and a reminder of just how blessed I am.

Me and Clay were just talking about our children and their relationship with God, last night. I was telling him that under Jacob's cool and goofy (yes, at the same time!) exterior, he has such a faith in God that amazes me. He shares with his friends who don't believe in God -all the time. The most wonderful blessing we can pass on is our faith in our amazing God. And when we get to see God working in their lives - WOW!!! I will be praying for Rueben, my older 2 had eczema pretty bad (miserable), but nothing compared to Reuben.

Wow Dez that is great! How amazing that Leo and Caleb would recognize the pain that Reuben is in and unselfishly pray for him. Our God is big and I am praying and believing that Reuben will be healed. Love yall!

Mission Statement

I would like our home to be clutter-free, inviting and peaceful. My goal is to decide which tasks I need to do or delegate each day so we can maintain a better, more organized lifestyle. My goals also include providing an environment where my children can learn to be productive and Godly people. I want my family and others to know that this house is one where they can be free to live simply, love deeply and laugh abundantly. I want to be able to invite friends over without having to clean up for three days beforehand.
