Silly Desiree
Yesterday when I got home from the library, I must have dropped my cell phone as I got out. I didn't think too much about it til later in the evening. In the meantime we had a TORENTIAL downpour. You guessed it, I found my cell phone in the grass next to the car. It somewhat works but not really, so I had to call today to get me a new cell phone. DUH. Good thing we have insurance on my phone now. The past six months has been hard on my cell. I lost two cell phones within 6 weeks and now have to replace another one due to water damage. I have to be extra super careful now, can't afford to keep replacing phones.

I haven't lost a cell phone, but oh my is mine banged up. Clay's alays looks so perfect, as it is about all he has to carry. But for a Mom, juggling purse, kids, sippy cups, diaper bags and groceries, cell phones take a beating!
You can actually dry them out, though I would have to contact my sister-in-law to get the exact instructions. She had a friend who kept dropping them in the toilet (they would fall out of her back pocket) and she figured out how to save them.
I have dried one out before. Within 2 days it fell in the bathtub and then the washing maching. Brian has dropped his outside in the rain before and it continued working. Mine is dry but I can't hear anyone talk and the blue tooth just stops and no one can then hear me. Oh well the replacement one will be here tomorrow. THANKs.
