Verse of the day

While reading my Bible the other day, a verse really stood out to me. Ephesians 4:29 Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. (NLT) I searched through different translations/versions to see which one really reached me. I am normally a NKJV girl. BUT this time I love how NLT just speaks to me. I have to watch how I speak to others and my kids. Every word I say they are listening even when I don't think they are. So my goal is to watch how I speak to my kids my husband friends and even my self talk.

God has been there and done this with me - many times over! Now, if I say anything I know I shouldn't be saying, I feel the prick of the Holy Spirit letting me know that I am NOT pleasing God - or being a witness.

Mission Statement

I would like our home to be clutter-free, inviting and peaceful. My goal is to decide which tasks I need to do or delegate each day so we can maintain a better, more organized lifestyle. My goals also include providing an environment where my children can learn to be productive and Godly people. I want my family and others to know that this house is one where they can be free to live simply, love deeply and laugh abundantly. I want to be able to invite friends over without having to clean up for three days beforehand.
