Company Girl Friday ~ How is God is working in my life?

Over the past month or so I have taken a huge step back and done some reassessments on my goals for my life those of my kids and home. God is really showing me how to be a better mom wife and just a better person. I am finally learning that it happens one step at a time not in giant leaps. For years I have been an all or nothing kind of person and this year especially the past few months it has been one step sometimes even just inches at a time. God is faithful to fulfill all my needs in His time.

Hi there! I finally made it over here! The family picture looks awesome...the boys look so grown up and the girls look like little princess dolls!

God is definitely faithful...and, you are right, it happens one step at a time and not in giant leaps! :)

I can appreciate what you said about being "all or nothing" and how it really takes a step of faith to trust that little by little God can do huge things. Thanks for sharing!

A valuable lesson many of us could learn. Glad to see God working in your life.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I need to focus and take things in strides. And like Rachel's Small Things, each step adds just to big things.

It's good to have such a solid life plan...it's a good way to attain our goals...I think it helps us to be more focused and calm for our families.

Oh yes, those small steps. Every year I learn to take them and every year I inform God I wouldn't mind a few big leaps. :)

Mission Statement

I would like our home to be clutter-free, inviting and peaceful. My goal is to decide which tasks I need to do or delegate each day so we can maintain a better, more organized lifestyle. My goals also include providing an environment where my children can learn to be productive and Godly people. I want my family and others to know that this house is one where they can be free to live simply, love deeply and laugh abundantly. I want to be able to invite friends over without having to clean up for three days beforehand.
