No Electronics

A few weeks ago I was reading an article in Woman's day about family dinners and it struck a chord with me. The article talked about no TV no computer family nights. So we instituted this on Friday night Sabbaths. We have usually not watched TV on Sabbaths unless it was Christian programing. Now we have taken it one step further. This make for a much more family/worshipful Sabbath evening.

The kids seem a lot more restful and ready to begin the Sabbath weekend instead of wired for sound as well.

Working on our Scripture verses for memorization over the weekend. Write them down read them daily until committed to memory. Then review on a weekly and monthly basis.

Anyone want to share their FAVORITE verse for memorizing.

I will share my favorite on Sunday. It more has to do with the memory behind learning it.

have a blessed Sabbath. God Bless y'all.

That's a great idea, Desiree!
My favorite verse to memorize is (was) Philippians 4:6 - Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer & supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God!

Mission Statement

I would like our home to be clutter-free, inviting and peaceful. My goal is to decide which tasks I need to do or delegate each day so we can maintain a better, more organized lifestyle. My goals also include providing an environment where my children can learn to be productive and Godly people. I want my family and others to know that this house is one where they can be free to live simply, love deeply and laugh abundantly. I want to be able to invite friends over without having to clean up for three days beforehand.
