Mission Statement

Today while I was looking around the web, I came across a blog that hit me upside the head. "why do I keep my home?" Every successful business has a mission statement what is mine? What do I want to accomplish with my children? With myself? Am I going through life with intention or just to get from the bed to the bed again? So today I am going to begin to answer some of these questions. I have heard them all before but for some reason today was one of those proverbial LIGHTBULB moments. I love those moments when God just reaches out and gets me and says "see this is what I have been t trying to teach you, Desiree. It just takes you a little while to get it through your thick skull." I certainly do have a thick skull and can be pretty dense.

Mission Statement

I would like our home to be clutter-free, inviting and peaceful. My goal is to decide which tasks I need to do or delegate each day so we can maintain a better, more organized lifestyle. My goals also include providing an environment where my children can learn to be productive and Godly people. I want my family and others to know that this house is one where they can be free to live simply, love deeply and laugh abundantly. I want to be able to invite friends over without having to clean up for three days beforehand.
