Reminded today

In my Bible study this morning, this verse came to me. I know I have said and remembered it over the years but to see it in black and white in print is very uplifting

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

We serve the God who is FAITHFUL and He doesn't want us to be tempted to fail/fall into sin. What a promise ~ He doesn't want us to fail and has provided us an escape from sin.

I love this verse, but thousands of people misquote it everyday. You've heard it too, that God will never give us more than we can bear. Yes, sometimes He does. It says He will not allow us to be TEMPTED more than we can bear - that He will always provide a way of escape (a better choice, or way). That was brought to my attention years ago - and it has always stuck with me.

Mission Statement

I would like our home to be clutter-free, inviting and peaceful. My goal is to decide which tasks I need to do or delegate each day so we can maintain a better, more organized lifestyle. My goals also include providing an environment where my children can learn to be productive and Godly people. I want my family and others to know that this house is one where they can be free to live simply, love deeply and laugh abundantly. I want to be able to invite friends over without having to clean up for three days beforehand.
