This was fun this year. As soon as the boys put the ornaments up the girls were taking them off the tree. Every year we get new ornaments for each of the kids. Leo has a series of ornaments that started the Christmas we were expecting. The others have various sets of ornaments, Reuben has cookie jars, Caleb has robots and dowhhill racers, the girls have picture frames from last year. Once the tree was up, the girls mostly left the tree alone.
I broke down last night and cut Rebekah's bangs. They were always in her face and she wouldn't keep a clip or ponytail holder in her hair for long. Anneliese hasn't had her hair cut yet.
We went to see Nana & Papa over the weekend. While visiting we went to the Caldwell zoo in Tyler. Our cousins Adrianna, Lane & Megan were there too. Nana's pomeranian had 3 puppies on Sunday morning. It was nice to see family even if it was a short visit.
I would like our home to be clutter-free, inviting and peaceful. My goal is to decide which tasks I need to do or delegate each day so we can maintain a better, more organized lifestyle. My goals also include providing an environment where my children can learn to be productive and Godly people. I want my family and others to know that this house is one where they can be free to live simply, love deeply and laugh abundantly. I want to be able to invite friends over without having to clean up for three days beforehand.
